Good morning, GoT fans! So, how did you survive this week’s episode? And last week’s episode? Man! Every episode now for me is like, wow! And what about you? What do you think of this season so far? We are past the middle of it. Episode 5 already! O my God! Only 2 more episodes to go! I’m happy and I’m excited and so anxious at the same time. Cause it’s almost at the end already! It’s just… 7 episodes is not enough. Not enough. Not when you have a series as great as this one.

We start episode 5 and we see who saved Jamie. I was Bron. And Jamie of course… funny guy, right… he complains to Bron that he could have killed him. Like yeah, no. The dragon would not have killed me. But the way you pulled me into the water I could have died. I’m like, really Jamie? Are you serious? But okay, yeah. So Bron asks him: what were you thinking when you tried to attack a dragon?  And he says he just wanted to end the war. I mean, killing Daennerys would end the war. That’s for sure. Dumb thing to do when there’s a dragon between you and the person you wanna kill, right? And Bron says that with dragons is where their partnership ends. Because he’s not going to seat around and wait for the dragons to kill him. And Jamie is afraid of what will happen when Daennerys decides to use all 3 dragons at full force to really win a battle. Cause now he has seen just how powerful the Dothraki can be. And how powerful one dragon is. So you imagine 3 dragons. It would be horrible, horrible, horrible.

Then we see Tyrion. He’s walking through the battlefield and he sees the destruction that happened and from his face we can see it really…. How can I say… Those guys are Lannister and he’s a Lannister. He probably knew quite a few of them. So he’s not very happy and he was seeing everything from far away and then we see as Dan… of course, so Jamie and Bron they are like on the other side. So they escaped. But wih the people they stayed in the battlefield. Daennerys is like summoning them all to the same place and she gives them 2 choices. They can either join her or die. I mean, it’s not really a  choice, is there? So you either bend the knee and you join my army or you die. And the Tarly, they refuse to kneel. They are like some stubborn little buggers. And  of course, the father especially, he refuses to even let her send him to the Wall, to take the black. Because he says, you are not my queen. So you can’t really send me anywhere.   And Dickon, he says: if you are gonna kill him, you will have to kill me. And yeah, not so smart but okay. And Tyrion, he tries to convince Daennerys to lock them up for a few days . especially the son and then let him think again about what he’s doing. But she’s determined that if she gives them this choice, a lot of people will make that choice and she says she doesn’t want to take prisoners. She doesn’t want to have people  in shakles. Because she’s actually breaking shakles, right. So how is she supposed to have prisoners like that. She decides, okay. You don’t want to join me, I respect that but then Drogon will kill you. And that’s what she does. Because usually people would decapitate, right. But she says well, I’m not doing that. I’m not beheading people. I am burning them. It sort of remembers us of what her father did. I am more and more worried with Daennerys, you know. She’s becoming her father’s daughter more and more over time. Between her and Cersey I don’t know who has caused more trouble with fire. Maybe Cersey. Because of the wildfire. I don’t know. But yeah. Those are 2 crazy ladies. And she says: I’m nothing like Cersey! Yes, you are!

But then again, coming back here to the episode. Daennerys sentenced both Tarlys to death and Drogon does his job and then we see Jamie arriving at Kingslanding. And he and Cersey are talking about the loses and the future and the mercenaries… and Jamie tells Cersey that actually Olenna killed Joffrey. That she was responsible and that she confessed it just before dying. And so, first Cersey does not wanna believe it.   But then thinking better about it she agrees that she was telling the truth when she confessed. And she says (Cersey), she doesn’t think they have any choice but to keep fighting Daennerys because she does not think that Daennerys is just going to forget what happened so far. And Jamie’s not really convinced because he saw what happened, he saw the destruction … so he knows they are going to lose if Daennerys really decides to come in and attack them with full force.

Then we go back to Dragonstone and Drogon is back. Poor Drogon, he’s hurt but he’s doing okay. And we see this amazing scene where Jon Snow is waiting for them and Drogon just keeps approaching, approaching and they are like really face to face. And poor Jon Snow, you can see the guy is shaking and all fibers in his body are telling him: just run, you fool! But he stays. He’s a brave guy. Stupid maybe, but brave. And he stays there and because he does not know he’s a Targaryen right? And he takes his glove of and he lets Drogon smell him and then he touched Drogon and Daennerys I like: what the hell is going on?? Cause yeah, I mean. Drogon is not a friendly type of animal. And so she comes down and she’s: well, aren’t they amazing? And they talk a little bit about how the dragons are her children … but yeah, it was a nice moment seeing Drogon and Jon connecting. It really is. But yes, in that moment she tells Jon that it doesn’t matter how big they get, how scary they are. They are her children. And they really are, because she does not think she can ever have children of her own again.

And then we see an amazing, beautiful, touching reunion. Jorah arrived. She was having a  moment with Jon and then the Dothraki came and said well Khaleesi, this man says he knows you, he’s a friend. Daennerys sees Jorah… we can see like her eyes were watering, she was just so happy that he’s back and he says he’s cured. And he asks if she would have him and then we see Jon and Jorah making acquaintance. To see that as good servant he did what she asked. He found a cure.

Then we go back to Winterfell and Bran, he’s like warging. Apparently he could see what all those crows were seeing. And the crows, of course, they go like beyond the wall. And we see this huge army of White Walkers. It’s just wow! A lot of people. And the crows were flying and seeing where everyone was and what was going on but then, when the Night King, he saw the crows is like he broke the connection.

I’m really curious to see and learn more about the story of the Night King and to see who he really is and … because there has to be a connection with the Starks although he does not look like a proper Stark if you want. He was like a red head. Before the children of the forest, they made him into the Night King. But I don’t know. A lot of people think he actually used to be a Stark. Who knows. George Martin knows.  Maybe. But we will have to wait and see if they tell us this story. Or if they at least give us some explanation on how they are all connected. Because I’m pretty sure he is connected to the Starks. Because he keeps staring at Jon so hard. I don’t know. He sees all those crows and the connection is cut. And he (Bran) then tells the maester they have to send ravens and they send ravens not just to Jon Snow, but apparently they sent ravens to many places telling them: look, they are coming.

And we go to the citadel and the maesters, they are discussing Bran’s message and Sam is there and he’s listening and he’s listening how they talk about this cripple boy who claims he can see through those ravens and blah, blah blah. And of course Sam, he can never keep his mouth shut, right? And he says: are you talking about Bran Stark? Because he is telling the truth. And they go like yeah, maybe yes, maybe no. and he says: Look, you are so powerful and everyone respects what you say. If you tell people, they should believe this story. They are going to believe it. And they are going to prepare. And so this maester, this high maester that Sam is training with. He says : don’t worry, we will get to the bottom of it. We will know for sure because maybe this is just a  plot and we cannot let people use us like that. And yeah, Sam is just getting restless , right? He knows he should be learning more, he should be doing more. Because they are coming. So he’s not very happy when he sees that those maesters they are not really ready to do something.

We go back to Dragonstone and we see Tyrion and Varys talking about Daennerys and what she did and they are of course worried because like me, they see that she’s becoming more and more like her father. She’s ruthless, she is not afraid to kill people if she has to. Even though… yes, she’s not crazy. So she’s not just killing people for the pleasure of killing. But she’s not afraid to do that. She’s not afraid of making tough decisions. Varys was holding the message that Bran sent and so now Jon finds out Arya is alive and she is in Winterfell; Bran is alive. He’s in Winterfell. But he’s not exactly very happy even though he should be, right. But he’s not happy because of the message that Bran sent. That he saw all those White Walkers waking and coming to Eastwatch. And so they start discussing what they can do, right. Because they need to unite fronts with Cersey to be able to do that. And at least make a cease fire because they cannot fight the walkers and Cersey at the same time. There’s just not enough people to do that. So they decide to go beyond the wall, capture a walker, bring it back to the south and show it to Cersey. So she can believe they exist and maybe then she will agree to a cease fire.

And so they are planning on how they are gonna do this. Tyrion is going to Kingslanding and he’s gonna talk to Jamie so that Jamie can talk to Cersey. Because Cersey only listens to Jamie. Sort of.  And someone has to go beyond the wall to capture a white. So Jorah says : if you allow me, I will go. And the Jon says: the free folk, the wildlings, they can help but they will not help Sir Jorah. So I have to go with them. And at that moment you see like… I mean, when Jorah said he was going, Khaleesi already was not very happy. But the when Jon says that, you can see like her heart is racing and she’s like oh my God, Oh my God. He might go and never come back. Is like you can see all the thoughts going through her mind while she was trying to find the right word to say please don’t go. And she says: Well, but I didn’t  give you permission to go. And the he’s like: I’m sorry  your Grace but I don’t need your permission. I’m a king. I can go. There’s nothing she can say right? Then he says: When I came here I was trusting someone I did not know. Now I need you to trust me.

And of course she knows there’s nothing else she could say than just farewell.

Then we go back to Winterfell again and we see how the people in the North, they are getting anxious because  the winter is there and Jon Snow is not and they are putting pressure on Sansa saying: Maybe we should not have chosen Jon Snow, we should have chosen you. And we see Arya, she’s always observing. And she’s not very happy to see how Sansa is dealing with this whole situation and she suspects that Sansa has other intentions. That she actually wants to ‘dethrone’ Jon Snow if you want and she wants to be Lady Stark. She wants to be the one commanding or head of the family.

And the we see again Tyrion and Davos, they arrive at Kingslanding. In this episode we keep coming and going and cutting through scenes. Davos goes to find Gendry . Yay! Gendry is back! And Bron takes Jamie to the dungeon to talk to Tyrion. Of course Jamie does not know  he’s going there to talk to Tyrion, otherwise he would not have gone. So Tyrion and Jamie, they talk. Tyrion presents to Jamie this idea they have. If she agrees, we will have proof. Because in the mean time Jon Snow and the others; they are going  to Eastwatch  to catch a white. Then we see how Davos and Gendry, they go to the boat and then some soldiers come and Davos pays them because Davos is not really a soldier. He does not like to fight and Gendry is … he does not know how to fight with a sword but he has this huge hammer. When the soldiers were leaving, they see Tyrion coming and they go: we were looking for someone just like you some time ago. Then Davos tries to pay them off but of course this time they’re not taking money. So, Gendry kills them.

We see how Jamie goes to talk to Cersey about Tyrions preposition. No, proposition. And she actually takes it quite well. She’s not crazy. She’s not screaming. She knew, of course, that Tyrion had been there and everything that had happened, sort of. She did not know what they talked about. But she knew they were talking. And she asks if Jamie is going to punish Bron for betraying him and taking him to see Tyrion. And she says: Well, maybe we should listen to what Daennerys has to say. And the she tells Jamie why. She needs time because she is pregnant again. She is expecting a  baby. Jamie’s baby. He’s moved by that. Because this time he really is going to be the father, not just the uncle. And he says: Well, people re not gonna like this idea of us having a baby. She says… just looks at him like: who cares, right. I’m the queen. I can do whatever I want. And then they say that Lannister phrase: The lions do not concern themselves with the opinions of the sheep. They can do whatever they want.

The we go already back to Dragonstone and I mean. Things are moving so fast now.  We don’t see people traveling anymore. It’s just like they  appear in places. So it’s very confusing to have any idea how much time is passing by while all of this is happening. Because traveling, even with the boats. It should take some time. But things are just happening fast. No time here!   We see Davos and Gendry. They are back in Dragonstone already.  And Davos is taking Gendry to see Jon Snow because they just arrived and he keeps telling Gendry: look, let me do the talking. They should not know who you are. But of course, when Gendry see Jon he says : I’m Robert Baratheon’s son. Our fathers, they used to be best friends. Davos goes like:  Okay, he was supposed to keep that as a secret because all Robert’s children are supposed to be dead and Davos saved him. And, question here. What happened to Theon? I mean, we just saw him arriving. We never saw him leaving. No one is talking about Theon anymore.  Good question. Is like people just forgot he even exists. No idea. But okay. Back here to what happened in this episode.

We see Jon and Gendry talking. And Gendry is going with Jon beyond the wall. Then we see the group leaving and Daennerys saying goodbye to everyone. And Jorah wanted to say something to her but then Jon and the others arrived. So he has to cut it or hold it for the next encounter maybe. So yes, when Jon is leaving he says: at least if I don’t come back you don’t have to deal with the King in the North anymore. And she says: but I’m kinda getting used to him. By now. So yay.. love is in the air… yes, something like this. We will see. And poor Jorah. He loves Daennerys but sorry men! The Targaryen family. They tend to stick together!

Then, really really great moment! And I a not sure how many people actually have understood just how important this next moment is. We see Sam and Gilly and they are in the Citadel and they are talking and they are reading. Sam is copying those scrolls and Gilly is reading a book from the maester Highsepton Maynard. This guy just wrote everything down. And she’s like: do you know how many steps and do you know how many windows and blah, blah, blah. But then, she’s like: Sam, what is an annulment. And my ears were already ringing like I annulment, annulment. Did anyone say annulment? Because an annulment is what people used to do or maybe the even still do. When someone is married and they don’t want to be married anymore. It’s like to cancel a marriage license or something. Because he wrote here about a guy named … but she does not say Raeger, she says Ragger. Maybe that’s why a lot of people didn’t really pay attention because eit really seemed like small talk. And that is the thing with GoT. So much important information is given to us as a small talk it’s amazing. That’s why I watched now the first season 5 times and every time I see I go like: O my God! I did not see this before. It’s amazing.  We see how Gilly is reading this book that Raeger got an annulment when they were in Dorne and the same maester already married him to someone else. But, when she was going to read who this someone else was, Sam just stands up and he’s fed up with this whole situation and he decides to do something. What does Sam do? He goes int the library. He takes all the scrolls and books. I think he knows talk about white walkers and the long night. And he takes a wagon and they leave. So that’s where we are right now. Sam is just fed up. He knows they don’t have time for him to complete his training. He needs to learn and he needs to learn fast because they are coming. He needs to find an answer. And yes, big big hopes for Sam there. Because he really has to find something to help the other save the 7 Kingdoms. And then, as they were leaving, Gilly asks him: are you sure? Because you always wanted to be a maester. And then he says something that his father told him some time ago. So this makes me wonder if he already knows his father is dead or not. He says: I am tired of reading about the achievements of better man. So he thinks he has to start acting as well. I couldn’t agree more. But still. It made me think if the maester had a chance to tell him what happened to his father and brother.

Then we go back to Winterfell again and we see how Arya sees Litlefinger plotting and talking to people and she sees as the maester gives him a scroll and Littlefinger even asks him : are you sure this is the only copy? And he hides it in his room so Arya goes there and she finds what it was. She finds the scroll. She takes it. And as Arya leaves the bedroom , we see that Littlefinger was actually there, in the shadows. Seeing. Because he was expecting Arya to do that. What do you guys think? What sort of game is Littlefinger playing now? Cause that guy, he … his plans were if not interrupted, they were changed when Arya and Bran arrived at Winterfell. I’m curious to see how this one will end up. Although I already saw some spoilers and if they are true it’s very  interesting stuff that should happen in the last episode of this season.

And then, last scenes. We see the group arriving at the wall. At Eastwatch. And the Hound and the others, they are already there too. And they are like in prison. Because they were not sure what to do with them. And Gendry tells them they should not trust the guys from the Brotherhood because they sold him to Melisander. But they talk and talk but they decide okay. They need people anyway, right? Jon decides they are all on the same side because they are breathing, right. So it’s basically the dead against the living. He decides they are all going beyond the wall and the Hound and the others , they are part of his group now. And then as the episode ends, we see them going. The door opens and we see the group entering the terrain beyond the wall.

Like I said before. I’m so excited and this season is just so amazing but at the same time episode 5 has finished. We only have 2 more episodes left. It’s not enough. But yes, this season is just so so great. What did you guys think? Did you like this episode? I loved this episode. I must say. I really really loved this episode and I’m pretty sure next episode is going to be even better.

As always, thank you for listening, and please just give us a thumbs up, like and share and send it to your friends… use it in your classes with your students…  okay guys? And I will talk to you next week on the next episode. Bye, bye!

Hello, hello, hello everyone! Oh my God! What was this episode number 6! So yes, sorry. I didn’t even ask you guys how you are. How are you doing? I mean, I am just blown away with this episode. I watched it already like 3 times and I can’t get enough of this episode! It’s really hard to tell with GoT like which episode is the best. In terms of scenes is easy. But with episodes is really hard. But yes, if this wasn’t the best episode it is certainly like in the short list of 3 best episodes of the series. But it might be the best one, really. Because it was so complete and it had it had so many wow moments. It was just… I don’t even have words to describe this episode. It was mind blowing, it was great, it was amazing, it was beautiful, it was scary, I was mad, I was sad… it just brought so many emotions. Even though I had spoilers and I knew almost everything that was going to happen, nothing.. it’s just like with the red wedding, nothing prepares you to actually seeing everything. Seeing the battle, seeing the scene with the dragon…

Let’s go and start at the beginning. We start episode 6 with the group. The same group that we just saw in episode 5 leaving Eastwatch. We see them walking and talking and some of the people they get to know each other a little bit better. So yeah, they are going. They are looking for the whites right. Because they have to capture at least one. We see for example Gendry, he’s complaining to the guys from the brotherhood and he’s winging as the Hound says. I mean he is complaining, so he is winging about what happened to him and the the Hound says: Look, why are you winging about? Then he points to the other guy who already died 6 times and he said: he died 6 times and you don’t see him complaining, do you? And then Gendry looks and he… what can you say right? And the the guy just gives him something to drink and he says good boy. It was not fair but what is done is done and he’s alive and yeah… move on, right.

And so we see then how Jon, he tries to give Jorah Lonclaw back but Jorah refuses. He says he doesn’t have the right to have Longclaw. And gives it back to Jon. Arya is really not so sure about Sansa’s intentions and she thinks now that she read the scroll, she thinks that Sansa was responsible fro the death of Ned Stark. Because she sent that raven to Rob saying yes, our father is a traitor and you need to bend the knee to Cersey… and Sansa said: well, I’m sorry I was just a child and they made me write it. I didn’t want to. I did not betray our family. And the way they were talking and everything happened and the way that later Sansa finds out the mask, the faces. I mean, begs the question. What is happening to those sisters? Is Arya going to kill Sansa? Or something that occurs to me is: maybe in some of those scenes we see like Sansa talking to Littlefinger and things like this. Did Arya already like wear Sansa’s face? Because we know, it is possible to wear someone’s face without them being dead. Because we saw how the Faceless men was wearing Arya’s face even though Arya was still alive. So, is it possible that maybe in some of those scenes we Sansa talking and doing things it actually was Arya trying to understand what was going on. And maybe that is when she realizes that it is actually Litlefinger playing around with them. From the beginning. That would be very nice to see. Or to realize that it was actually Arya in some of those moments and that Littlefinger, he thinks he is playing her but it was her playing him. That would be cool.

We go back beyond the Wall and we see the guys talking. We see the new leader from the free folk and he is telling the Hound how he is in love with Brienne and he wants to make babies with Brienne. And that is so funny, because he seems to be completely and totally in love with Brienne and Brienne just can’t stand him. And the the Hound is looking like: really? You and Brienne? Because they saw each other right. When she was looking for Arya. And then we see Jon and this other guy, the  … I keep forgetting his name. the guy who also died 6 times and they are talking about the Lord of Light and how he brought both of them back. And they are discussing and trying to understand why they are special. Why they came back. And the guy says he also does not have an answer that there has to be a reason why they were chosen.

Then we see a quick scene back at Dragonsstone and we see Daennerys and Tyrion talking and she says she likes that he isn’t a hero because heroes, they make stupid things and they put themselves in danger. And she gives like a list of all the guys in her life and in the end she puts Jon Snow. They talk about him and Tyrion indicate that there is something going on and she says: he’s too little for me. Lame excuse, right? They talk about Cersey, and how they might meet her. Because then Tyrion says that his brother promised to try and keep Cersey on a leash and he says how he promised to make the same with Daennerys. And she goes like: Why would you need something like this? And he says: well, you’ve lost your temper from time to time .. like yeah, you’ve burnt a few people you did not have to burn. With the Tarlys you did not have to burn the son, for example. You could have burnt the father to set an example but you could have given the son a chance. A chance to think and she goes: No, I could not have done that. And he’s: well, maybe you could. But you did not give us time to discuss about it. To see all the options. You just acted. And he says how I mean: you talked about breaking the wheel but fear is one of the things that actually keeps the wheel turning. So as long as you use that, you will not break the wheel. And he says how fear makes the power very brittle. Because if people only follow you because they are afraid of you there’s a big chance that one day they will turn against you, right. And this is all Cersey has right now. This is all most of the kings ever had over people. But that is not the solution that she claims that she wants. And the Tyrion touches a very sensitive topic. Succession and she’s not happy about it. She’s starting to question if Tyrion maybe is plotting against her with his family and she goes like: well, you are thinking about my death already. So I’m not … I don’t even have the crown and you are already thinking about what will happen once I’m dead. But I mean, I understand his point of view and I understand why he’s so scared. Because she could die from so many things, right. She’s going beyond the Wall, she’s going to fight the Walkers and she could just die there and then and then what happens. What happens with the future. So I understand where he’s coming from . I understand why he’s asking those questions but maybe he should have done it in a different way. Because she’s not happy about it. And because she believes she cannot have children anymore. So … in any case. If she cannot have children they have to find a solution for the succession.

Then we go back beyond the wall and we see as the Whites attack the group. The first things attacking them are huge white bears. And they are scary as hell!  We see the guys who believe in the Lord of Light. Their swords, they are like, they turn into flames. And then, as one of them… I don’t remember which one. He goes against the bear and the bear is like in flames. And the hound is just petrified when he sees that. He cannot move anymore. Because we all know he’s afraid of the fire, right? And so the priest goes to help him and we see like as the bear is attacking the priest. And he gets really badly not burnt but I’m not sure if the bear bit him or scratched him only. But its bad. Is really really bad. And the Hound, he just sat there, looking. Horrified about what was going on.

Here we see again how Sansa is like: what I am going to do! How could Arya know all these things. This is maybe one of the moments when  think maybe it was Arya doing that and not Sansa. That would be very interesting. Because is like everyone is playing a game here. And I’m not sure who is really playing whom right now.  It could be that everyone is playing everyone. Littlefinger is playing, and Arya is also playing and trying to find out. And Sansa is  fighting against this power urge that she has. She really wants to be important, she wants to be a queen, but … I mean, after everything she’s been through. Maybe that does not seem so important anymore. Who knows! But I really would not trust Sansa.  Not really. But it could be, yeah. It could be that Arya is… she understood that Littlefinger is playing them, so she is playing Littlefinger. She’s beeing smarter. Could be. Something that is very interesting is that Littlefinger tells her: Look, you should not worry because Brienne is here. So, if something should happen to either of you, she’s here to protect. And then next thing moment, what we see is Sansa is sending Brienne to Kingsklanding! If she’s so worried about Arya, why is she sending Brienne away? This is one of the reasons I think maybe .. either they both already know Littlefinger is playing them and they are already like in on it. Together, plotting against him. Or, it was Arya pretending to be Sansa and she does not want Brienne to be there to save Sansa. Something like this. I don’t know. There are too many open questions here. Too many!

Then we go back beyond the wall. And we see how they attack the small group of whites because  they need to get one, right. To show to Cersey and and also to show to Daennerys. And as Jon kills like the commander most of them like break. They manage to capture one who did not just crumble but then he screams, is like he’s calling for help. From the other ones. And so we see this huge army coming for them. So Jon looks at Gendry and says: Look, run to Eastwatch, send a raven. Tell Daennerys what’s going on and ask for help. And first of course Gendry says: no, I’m not gonna leave you here. But then he understands. Be might be the only chance they got. Because they cannot fight them all. They can’t just kill them all. Poor Gendry. He goes and runs and runs and runs and I’m not sure just how far it is but it seemed very far and it seems pretty cold. And he.. for someone who had never even seen snow before… poor guy. And he arrives at Eastwatch when it was already getting dark or dark. It’s hard to say. How the days work. But there is a moment when he’s going to Eastwatch where he stops somewhere. He looks at something and I’m pretty sure I was supposed to know what that place was, but I’ve no idea. It seemed like a construction or something that has burnt. No idea. Do you guys know what it was? Because I am lost there. And I’ve tried already to look online but so far have not found and answer of what is was. Because I don’t remember them being so close to Eastwatch before. So  don’t know what it was. But then again.. so we see Gendry arriving and he collapses and all he manages to say is: Ravens, we need to send a raven. Poor guy.

And meanwhile in the group, we see how they manage to like run and then when they realize they are on top of a lake maybe, or it is already the sea. I don’t know. But it’s water. But there is like a rock in the middle of it. And you see how they keep running to that rock and because there are so many of the whites, they are so heavy … there is a point where they get where the ice just starts to break so they all stop. And it’s a beautiful scene. They made it from the air. You see them on top of the rock and then like a blank space and then they are surrounded , completely surrounded by whites. And they stay like that for quite some time. They go through the night and .. poor guys, they must be freezing because they don’t have fire, they don’t have anything, right. And when they wake up next morning the priest is dead. So Thoros is dead and the Hound, he takes his… the flask of drink (whatever it was that he was carrying) and he drinks from it. But then, as he was going to drink again, Jon takes it and he says: we need to burn his body, because otherwise he will just become a White himself. Then the guy said: well, if we only had  some fire, right? But then Beric, he makes his sword  burn. I’ not sure how they do that but he touches the sword and it starts burning. And they burn Thoros body. And so they are discussing about how to end this. How they could even have a choice of not just  all dying there. Have a chance to deliver the one White they captured to Daennerys. An so Beric says they could just kill the Night King right. Because he turned them all. So if they kill the one guy everyone else will just crumble. But yeah, this is easier said than done. Because he’s always far far away. He’s well protected. Is not easy to kill the guy. We see the Hound is getting restless with the situation and he throws a rock at one of those whites. And it knocks the guy but he doesn’t really move cause they don’t get angry or anything like that. But then when he throws the second rock, he doesn’t really put enough force s the rock slides and then that show to them, to the whites that the ice is holding now. So you see how slowly but surely the whites are walking towards them and then they go like: Holly mother, right? They are coming! They could have waited a little bit longer until Danny arrives but no, Hound is … he doesn’t have patience.

And the we see this like … I think the scene lasted like 4, 5 minutes but seems it lasts forever. We see how the whites are just taking them and attacking them and … I mean. I already knew what was going to happen but still I .. it felt for me like it was never ending. Like poor guys and they’re all gonna die or something like this. I knew basically what was going to happen but I did not know who exactly was going to die or not. So yeah, and with GoT we all know, we should be worried for everyone and anyone. But the again after 4, 5 minutes of the Whites just  winning and attacking we see Drogon and the other 2 dragons as well. So they just ‘dracarys’ on them. This gives them some time and advantage to be able to escape. So, Daennerys she lands with Drogon so that they could jump on the dragon . but then,    the Night King. The guy is clever maybe. And he sees an opportunity to kill the dragons. But the yeah, Jon snow stayed a little bit behind because he was just holding the Whites as the other ones were mounting Drogon, if you want. And then we all see how the Night King throws this spear ,  I think you could call it. And instead of doing that with Drogon, he does that (I think it was with Vyserion). And this is a big big question from a lot of people. Because Drogon was  a lot nearer the guy and .. but the other one was in the air so not sure why he decided to kill that dragon and not the other one.  We see how the dragon falls and goes into the water and that moment was so heartbreaking, really. I mean, I’ve read about quite a few people who actually cried seeing this scene.   Because it was, it was . I knew it was going to happen but still, it is heartbreaking to see one of those beautiful dragons just dying like that. And the of course, if it could not get any worse, Daennerys just lost a baby , one of her children. We see how  Jo n  Snow just falls into the water and she cannot do anything to save him. She has to leave him behind because they are coming. And the Night king is already preparing to attack Drogon as well. And if she loses Drogon as well then they would be in huge trouble. She has to leave not only her dragon behind but also Jon Snow without knowing even if Jon snow is dead or alive. And that was a very very tense moment, I must say. George Martin already killed the guy once, so why not do it twice. But then, a few moments later we see that he’s alive. He comes out of the water and poor guy. He must be freezing. Because it was cold and the water was very cold. He steps out of it and he’s trying to move , try and go away, but then he’s saved by his uncle Benjen . Benjen arrives on  a horse and opens sort of a way for him. But then, to give Jon a  chance to escape, Benjen stays behind and sacrifices himself. Next thing we know, we see Eastwatch and the group is preparing to leave, but Daennerys is still on one of those lookouts and she looks so sad. Jorah says: look, it’s time to go.

And she says like: let’s just wait a little bit longer. Because she still has hope that Jon Snow is alive and he’s coming. And he is, right. We know he is. As she gives up and she’s going down we hear the horn. The horn that says someone is coming. Jon Snow  arrived at the last moment possible, of course! And the they take him already to the ship and they sail away. They don’t even treat him in Eastwatch. They sail to Drangonstone and we see how Daennerys. She stays in the background, if you want, but she sees how they are treating him and when they take his clothes away, she can see the scars from when they stabbed him. And then she probably understands that Davos wasn’t  just being theatrical when he said that they stabbed him in the heart. They really did and he’s… somehow he is still alive. And we see how then Jon wakes up and she’s there and she’s waiting for him. It’s a really nice and touching moment. And yeah, very romantic! Oh yeah, they hold hands and he says he’s so sorry. He wishes they had never gone beyond the wall. He had never called for her. And she says: I don’t. because ei had to see it. I had to see it to believe. And now I know.  And that’s when she says: you have to understand the dragons are the only children I can ever have. And he (the Night King) killed one of them. So I will help you destroy this guy. And then, surprise surprise! I says well, I wish I could bend the knee but you know, is … I can’t. now we know he bends the knee to Daennerys and the they hold hands a little bit too long. We see the moment. And Daennerys understands the moment and she takes the hand away. And she says well, you should rest. And I will leave. Let’s see what will happen in the last episode . oh my God! Oh my God! What will happen in the last episode! I know it’s a long episode but still there’s still too many things to happen before  we have to wait at least a year. Some people are talking 2019. Way too long. For us to have the last season . but men, yeah. The story is just getting better and better. Let’s see. I probably forgot something. Yes, yes, of course! Last scene we see the Whites taking the dragon out of the water  and then comes the Night King , touches him and he opens his eyes and we have yes! We have an ice dragon now! What that means, no idea. No idea what that means. Does the dragon like spit ice? Some sort of … I don’t know. No idea. I mean, George Martin, he wrote a book about an ice dragon but no idea if he’s going to respect the rules sort of that he used in that book. So I am really excited to see what is going to happen in the last episode of this season! So guys,  again thank you for listening ! please just tell me what you think, did you like it, didn’t you like  the episode, the podcast, and share it with your friends  and give us a thumbs up if you liked it. And I will talk to you very very soon again. On the next episode, okay? Bye bye!

Good morning, everyone! How are you doing? And how is GoT going for you? Man! This season is just amazing! Really. I cannot believe that it’s gonna end in season 8 already! Because  it’s just too good to end. But well, I guess all really great things have to come to an end. And what did you think of the first 3 episodes? Did you enjoy it? Do you think they were good or they could have been better? Were you expecting something different?  I am just loving it! I must say, as the story continues I am loving it more and more every single episode.

Before we continue let me just say thank you to our sponsor, the OLC Club. You language club. And they have a very  nice new robot working with them now. His name is Tom and you can find Tom on the Facebook page from OLC Clube. And if you say hello to Tom, he will answer you. He’s a very smart little guy. And also, from time to time when a new podcast comes out you will receive them directly on your phone so you are never ever gonna miss one again.

Now, let’s go to episode number 4! Where do we start with episode number 4. We start with the Lannister’s army and Jamie is paying Bron and we see the wagon with all the gold inside. As Jamie gives Bron his share, Bron is not really happy. Jamie cannot understand why. And Bron says: well, this is not a castle. You promised me a title, a castle. I want a  castle, not just the money. Money is nice, but he wants more. Bron also does not understand why it is that Jamie is so unhappy. Let’s say it like that. After killing Olenna he knows that Tyrion was not responsible for killing Joffrey among other things, right. So, he’s not very happy. And then we see the Tarlys, they come and Bron is supposed to help them let’s say make people give the Lannister army their food, their stock… because let’s remind here, people, winter is here. Is not coming anymore. It’s here. And it’s supposed to be like the longest in I don’t know how many years. They are gonna need as much food as they can get hands on. To survive that long.

And then we got o Kingslanding and we see Cersey and the guy from the Iron Bank. She assures him that the gold is on its way. That her brother is bringing it. And he says that they, the Lannisters, they will have the help from the Iron bank as soon as they get their gold. So, as soon as they get their gold, Cersey has a new ally, the bank. And then they also talk about hiring mercenaries . because, they don’t really have like a huge army any more. Because they lost a  lot of allies. So they are talking about hiring mercenaries to work for Cersey.

And then, we go back to Winterfell and what we see is Littlefinger . he’s always plotting, isn’t he? I mean, come on! That guy! I would like to have a better idea on how his mind works, because it’s very intricate, it’s a very complicated mind. And he gives the dagger to Bran. He has no idea who Bran now is, right. He has no idea Bran now is the 3 eyed raven. That Bran knows it all. I’m just not sure how much from … about the future Bran knows. But he knows everything that already happened and that is happening right now. Sorry man, you are barking on the wrong tree. You are not going to influence Bran in any way. Because he’s just smart that way. Littlefinger is giving Bran the dagger that was used to try and kill him. After he fell. And he tells Bran that he’s there for Cat now. Cat, their mum right. And that anything that Bran needs he should just ask. And he said something that for me was very interesting. He (Littlefinger) said that this dagger was indirectly responsible for the war. And, let’s think. He’s not wrong, but we are not sure who exactly was responsible for trying to kill Bran. Or where exactly this dagger came from. It’s valiryan steel. So we know this dagger can also kill white walkers. But who sent the guy and who owned the dagger? Was it Littlefinger’s? because if it is, he just admitted that he indirectly caused this whole war. And then, something that may actually prove my point, is what Bran says to Littlefinger a moment later. He says something that Littlefinger told Varys a long long time ago in season 2 or 3 maybe. He quotes him and says: chaos is a ladder. And Littlefinger looks at him like – what are you talking about? Where have you heard this? But then, in that moment Myra arrives and so he leaves. We will have to wait and see what Bran has in store for Littlefinger.

So, Myra is there and poor Myra, right. And she’s telling Bran that she’s going home, that doesn’t want to leave him there alone, but he’s safe and blah, blah, blah. And Bran is just  looking like he doesn’t care.   For him it’s all the same and poor Myra.   She lost everything. She risked everything for him. And all he has to say is like thank you and so she gets a little bit mad and I mean, I understand her. I would get too. And he says he’s not really Bran anymore. And then she says something really interesting again. I keep repeating my words. She says: you died in that cavern. So maybe that really did happen. The real Bran, he died the moment the original 3 eyed raven died and now bran is the 3 eyed raven.   He’s not really Bran anymore. He’s someone else. Someone bigger, let’s say it like that, than just Bran Stark. Then we go to Arya and man, this moment was so nice! We see Arya arriving at Winterfell. And tehre’s this nice scene where she’s almost there and she’s looking over and she can see Winterfell. She arrives at the gates and of course the guards… no one knows her. They don’t let her pass, just like it happened when she was a lot younger in Kingslanding when she left the castle and then she was trying to get back in and the guards where like: Yeah, right. You are not Ned Starks daughter. And so, it’s funny to see history repeating itself so many years later. But yeah, everyone thinks Arya is dead. But then she convinces them  to let her in. she gets in and as the guards are discussing who is supposed to go and tell Sansa there is this crazy girl there saying she is Sansa’s sister. Arya then escapes and the poor guys now have to go and tell Sansa that the girl who’s supposed to be her sister has disappeared. But then Sansa says, don’t worry. I know where she is. And then we finally see that moment where both sisters are meeting again after such a long time. And even though they never really got along so well, they hug and Sansa, specially, she seems so happy! To have her little sister back. Just like with Bran. Is like she’s just happy to be able to hug someone from her family, to feel like she’s not alone anymore you know. Sansa says: I still remember how happy Jon was when he saw me, so I cannot even imagine how happy he will be sees you. Because Arya and Jon they were really close before. They talk about some of the things that happened to them, Joffrey dying, Arya askls if Sansa was the one responsible. And then Sansa says no and Arya says something that indicates she’s killing people now. She’s like an assassin or something. Sansa just laughs. Because yeah, how could she believe something like this, right? But then, Arya says but our stories are not over yet. Sansa agrees and they hug again. So that wa s a nice moment. Arya also had no idea that Bran was still alive. And then they go to see Bran and Bran was actually surprised to see Arya. Because he had seen her at the crossroad and at that moment she was thinking about going to Kingslanding. Not coming back home. So he is surprised to see that she decided to come home. Sansa says Why? Why would you go to Kingslanding? And then he says: Well, it’s because of her list. Cersey is on her list. They talk a little bit and then Bran gives Arya the dagger that Littlefinger just gave him and Sansa, when she hears Littlefinger gave him a gift; she says you should be careful, because he’s not a good person. He doesn’t just give things to people. And he says : it doesn’t matter because I’m not interested, he will not influence me. I don’t want it. Brienne  sees them coming back together  to the castle and she’s really happy Podrick tells her: you should be proud. Because you kept your word. You found Kathelyn Stark’s children. And she says: well, I didn’t do anything.

Then we go back to Dragonstone. We see Missandei and Daennerys talking and Missandei, she indicates to Danny that something happened between her and Greyworm. And as Daennerys is curious to know more details we see Jon arriving and he takes Daennerys to the caves where Dragonglas is. Because he says he wants to show her something before they start digging. Before it’s all destroyed. And he shows her the paintings that are on the walls. Paintings that supposedly were made by the Children of the forest. So a long long time ago. And we see some symbols on those walls that we have already seen in the series. Like in the very first episode, the symbol that the bodies of those dead people formed and also that symbol around the… that big white tree… and from time to time we see some strange symbols and some of those symbols were on the wall.so indicates it’s … somehow it’s all connected. Because we know already the children of the forest are the ones who created the.. what’s his name again… the Night King. There is a moment there, you can feel the tension between them, they are so close and they are staring at each other… looking at each other…  And Daennerys says she will fight for him, she will fight fro Jon Snow and for the North when he bends the knee. I mean, this woman. She’s like obsessed with this whole bend the knee, bend the knee, bend the knee. Every time they talk she just talks about bend the knee, bend the knee. But I guess she needs the power, right? Then, when they get out of the cavern, Tyrion is there, waiting for them. He has bad news. And she is mad about what she hears. Because that’s when she finds out what happened to the unsullied and they are basically just stranded there. She already lost the Greyjoys, the people from Dorne, and now… she’s not happy. She asks Jon, what he thinks she should do. And of course he’s against using the dragons to d melt people. Because  he says  if she does that, then she’s just the same as the others. So there’s nothing different about her, in comparison to the other ones. Then we go back to Winterfell again. So this episode is basically Winterfell, Kingslanding and Dragonstone. So now back in Winterfell,w e see Arya training with Brienne! And this is really a cools scene because Brienne is huge and her sword and she is well known for being a  very good ‘swordswoman’ ? So they train together and Sansa is looking from above and she’s not very happy about  what she sees. I guess this just goes to prove that her little sister is really not her little sister anymore. She’s someone else. She even like  beats Brienne with Needle. A really small sword. How is that possible? No idea! No idea! Is Got! But I guess maybe the material of the sword, something like this. As they are finishing, Sansa is gone already. She wasn’t so happy. And then Brienne looks up and then surprise surprise, who was there also watching: Littlefinger. And Sansa… Arya just stares at him.

We go back to Dragonstone and we see Davos and Jon talking… about Daennerys. And Davos makes some sort of joke like you din’t find her pretty, you don’t wanna be with her. I’m guessing there’s gonna be some sort of romance in the future. Maybe not season 7, maybe season eight, who knows. Cause they don’t know they are related. Let’s see when that happens. How the whole story might change. We see them talking to Missandei and she asks Jon about his family name. why is he called Snow if his father was called Stark. And so they explain to her that he is a bastard and the concept of a bastard. They ask her how she came to be an adviser to Daennerys. And she tells her … she tells them a little bit of her story. And she says yeah, the moment she decides to leave, Daennerys would give her a ship and she could leave. I mean, she’s not a slave anymore. Or she doesn’t have to stay.

Theon arrives and that is a very interesting moment there, because Jon is there and Theon arrives and Theon had no idea Jon was there. Jon is not exactly happy to see Theon. And Theon is not exactly happy to see Jon. Because he knows he was a bad boy right? I mean, he betrayed Rob and a lot of people still think he Stark boys. Jon tells him: Look, the only reason why I’m not killing you right now is because of what you did to Sansa. So, basically helping Sansa saved Theon’s life. And he says he’s there to ask Daennerys to save his sister from his uncle. But then we don’t see Theon again.

We go back to the Lannister army, we see Lord Tarly coming and he says that the gold is Kingslanding, it’s safe. Dickon meets Bron and they talk a little bit on how it was for Dickon to fight against some of the men he knew, because the Tarly family, they were under the Tyrell family. And then, well, man. That moment was great and scary and so many feelings mixed. It’s when we see the Dothraki army arriving and Daennerys arriving with the dragon. That scene was just epic! I mean, there’s no other way to describe this scene. So many people were complaining, (that) we were missing some great battle scenes because there were a lot of fights (not fighting) but no great battles and for me, especially in the beginning before there is a lot of flames and people burning all over the place… the scene where we see all those Dothraki coming and the dragon coming with them. It was just like, hold your breath you know. It was great, really really great! For me, what came after was… some of it was unnecessary maybe. I mean, not just to show us. I guess that’s okay. But what Danny did. She could have stopped because she knew she had won that battle before killing and burning so many people. My opinion. But well, who knows. Maybe she got carried away or I don’t know. Maybe she just wanted to burn all the wagons or something. Who knows what went through her mind. That scene of the battle was a beautiful scene. Let’s say it like that. It was really really amazing! All those Dothraki coming and… it was well done as well.

And, what else, what else… we see that Tyrion is like observing the battlefield from far away in safe distance and the yes, as the dragon is there killing people Bron, he goes and he takes that weapon that Cersey was creating for hurting the dragons. And he shoots at Drogo and he hurts Drogo on like the wing. Drogo doesn’t die from that but he goes down. Daennerys is on the ground, she’s getting of the dragon to help take the spear and at this moment Jamie is not so far away and he sees that Daennerys is there and she’s vulnerable. And we see Tyrion just saying, just run and go away, you idiot. Don’t try and do something stupid! And we are like hoping that he can listen to his little brother right? But he doesn’t. and so yes, he finds a spear somewhere on the ground and he looks at Daennerys and he’s going for Daennerys. But them in this moment, feels like Daennerys is in trouble and he looks at Jamie and he’s about to fry Jamie when someone comes with a a horse and jumps and they go into the water. I’m not sure who it is. Who saved Jamie. I think I saw an armor, so in that case it would be Dickon. But a lot of people think it was Bron. So, I will have to wait like you guys for next week to see what exactly happened. But my God! This episode, especially the end with all the fighting and everything was just… great episode as ever!

So guys, what did you think of this episode? Do you think something different should have happened? Is this what you guys were expecting? What do you think? Did I maybe forget something?  Because there’s always so many things happening  in one episode now. Just comment, share, send it to your friends who love GoT and are learning English or if you are a teacher and you think you can use this episode during your classes, please just feel free to use it, okay guys? I will see you and talk to you next week, on the next episode! Bye, bye!

Hello, hello and good morning from sunny Floripa! How have you been, guys? Good week, bad week, cold week, warm week… And what did you think of GoT episode 3? Man! This is… it’s good! It’s getting there. I mean, so excited! The thing is, that is also the problem, right?  The cooler it gets and then the harder it gets to really wait for the next Sunday and yeah… to see what is going to happen.

I saw yesterday some spoilers, possible spoilers for the next episode. Man! Blown away! About the meeting from Sansa and Arya. So, so great! But well. Let’s start here with episode 3. What do you think? It was one of the most expected moments maybe from GoT. We finally see the meeting between Daennerys and Jon! And I mean, I don’t know what you were expecting but I kinda was hoping for a moment where they look at each other and the something happens or they realize they are like blood or something. But no, nothing.  Nothing at all like that. So I don’t know. Well, Bran said he needs to talk to Jon, right? So yeah, maybe that is when he’s going to find out what is going on. But so, okay, let me rewind here. And like always will give you like a summary and then at the same time say what I think, or some spoilers, some theories and things like this, Okay?

So yeah, the episode starts with Jon arriving at Dragonstone and…  it was very quick, right? I know that time in GoT is strange because we are never sure how much time has passed. But still, I mean, I was expecting at least to see him traveling, going to Dragonstone but  no, he was already there. So yeah, they really are getting to the point here.   When you only have 7 episodes I guess that’s what happens, right? And so, as Jon and Davos arrive there, we see how  they give up their weapons and then we also see how the Dothraki take their ship or ships, right. And then he already goes like, mhm maybe it was a bad idea to come. Maybe not. But he still wasn’t so sure what to think about , everything was going on. And then yeah, Tyrion and Missandei were waiting for him and and he talks to Tyrion. Missandei introduces herself or rather Tyrion introduces Missandei and she says that the Mother of Dragons is waiting for them. Then we see them like climbing Dragonstone if you want. Those stairs. And Tyrion tries to explain to Jon what happened to Sansa or with Sansa if you want, right. Because they got married and he says: Look. I didn’t want it but I tried my best to protect her. And Jon says well, it’s in the past.

And then we see, well, they finally see the dragons. Because Jon had not seen the dragons yet. And of course they get … I mean, they go down to the floor because those beasts are huge! And they were flying really low. So yeah, they were all quite scared.  At the same time we see Melisander. She is far away seeing everything that’s happening and then we see Varys with her. And he’s like: wow, you begged us to bring Jon here, don’t you think it’s a bit strange that you are no there to greet him? And she says she did not part ways with them in good terms. Because we all know she burnt the little princess and Jon has banned her from the North. So she said: I would only be a nuisance, I would only distract him if I was there. So she thinks is best if she stays away. She says she’s going back home to Volantis and Varys says: good idea. You shouldn’t come back. And she says: well, I need to die in a foreign country just like you. And then Varys looks like, how do you know that?

The we see finally yes, Jon Snow arrives at the Throne Room, I think it’s called. And there is Daennerys sitting in her throne and waiting for Jon.

And so she gets introduced, right. I mean, a lot of names. She’s mother of this and blah, blah blah. And she expects Jon Snow to bend the knee. And of course, he doesn’t. So, that is one moment that I thought was kinda interesting to see how they are dealing with the whole power thing. You know. Cause yes, she is the rightful heir but she says she’s the last Targaryen and we know she’s not. Because Jon Snow is also a Targaryen. She says well, I am the only queen from the Seven Kingdoms so if you say you are a king, from the North, then you are in act of rebellion. And that moment, when you see like, it was really getting stressful maybe, the situation. Yes, Varys comes in and he says something in Daenerys’ ears and the she’s… she takes a deep breath and just well… I forgot how tired you must be so you should just go and refresh yourself and see… then we will talk later. And then he asks if he’s a prisoner and she says: not yet.

But yes, that’s the moment when Varys comes and tells her what happened to Yara, Theon and… I keep forgetting her name. The woman from Dorne.   Alarya, yes. And then well. When Daennerys finds out her whole plan just collapsed because, yeah, she doesn’t really have the ships to take  a siege of Kingslanding and she doesn’t really have the Dornish help anymore. So yup! Things are not looking good for Daennerys and we will talk until the end of this episode how… I mean, if you look in a very critical way. Actually it seems like the war is lost for her already and she has barely begun. Because yeah, she has 3 dragons but they can’t do the entire work alone, right? Even if Cersey doesn’t really have a lot of allies it does not look good for Daennerys. Not at all. Specially if she doesn’t have the help from Jon Snow and company.

So yeah, poor mother of dragons! But again. She was a bit like… how can I say it… nose in the air, maybe. Maybe the power is going to her head, you know. Cause she’s like: yeah…  I mean, the man doesn’t know her. The other way around it also goes. Jon then wants her to believe in his whole story of the White Walkers and that the dead are coming … and yeah, no one has seen a White Walker in I don’t know how many hundred years. And the same was true for dragons. No one had seen a dragon in 3, 400 years. They were all dead. They are like walking on eggs or something like that… egg shells… because they have responsibilities and they have power but at the same time they need each other and they will have to find a way slowly now … how to coexist, work together and things like this.

Continuing here we see Theon being rescued… so, some people from the Iron Islands, they rescued him. They ask him: is you sister dead? He says: well, no. Euron has her. I tried to rescue her but I couldn’t.  And the the guy looks at him and says: well, if you has really tried, you wouldn’t be here. And I guess he knows that… we all know that, right? If he really had tried to save Yara he would be dead. Maybe that’s why he chose to jump ship.

And then we see how Euron arrives at Kingslanding with the 3 women behind him and man! People are cheering and they are so happy to see him. Like a parade, you know. And he’s feeling good! He’s like: Oh, man! That’s the life! That’s what I want! People love me! And it’s really funny because he seems to be very cruel. Some people even say he might be even more cruel then Ramsey. Not sure about that yet. Could be. The present he promised Cersey in this case was Alarya, right? He gives her Alarya and her daughter. And apparently he will keep Yara for himself. And what he said when he gave her Alarya, I thought it was very interesting. He told her: I give you justice for the murder of your daughter. Because that was something that Jamie could not do. Because yeah, by the time Mircela died, they were already in the middle of the ocean and on the way home. So he didn’t really just turn back and try and find whoever poisoned her. That was a very interesting point too. And the she (Cersey) tells Euron he will get what he wants . But, they will only get married after the war is won. Very clever that woman! In the end you must like her. I mean, it’s impossible not to see just how clever and intelligent she is. She’s really really good! Specially with what we see later. What she did. Where she put all her soldiers and how she attacked. Wow! She was born to be a leader! She’s a bad one. But yeah, if she wasn’t so crazy and so mean, she would be an amazing queen.

Then, of course, we see Cersey telling Alarya how she’s going to make her pay for killing Cersey’s only daughter. And we see that she intends to make feel the same she felt. Because she gave Alarya’s daughter the same poison that killed Mircella. And of course they are both trapped in a dungeon or something. She said that Alarya is going to stay there and have to watch her daughter die slowly and then she will stay there and she will have to wait and see her daughter rot. How cruel is that. I mean, yeah, okay. she loved Mircela, but still. Come on. That is way too cruel! But okay, that’s Cersey, right! The one who exploded and killed everyone downtown.

So, what else do we have here. Oh yeah. Right after that she goes to Jamie’s room or maybe  Jamie was in her room and they spend the night together and then in the next morning someone knocks at the door and Jamie says: don’t open it because people can’t really see us like that.

And she says: Well, I’m the queen now. So, who cares. I can do whatever.

And she goes and opens the door. Someone tells her that a visitor from Bravos is there and as Cersey goes to see and talk to that person we see that it is someone from the Iron Bank. Because as we know, they owe a lot of money to the bank and yes, Castlery Rock doesn’t have any gold left. The situation is bad. So the guy tries to convince Cersey tp give him the money they owe because otherwise maybe they will go and give money to Daennerys. And as they talk and talk and she says: Look, if you stay -I think a fortnight or something like this – then I will give you all the money I owe you. I’m not sure how she intends to do that. Maybe because in Highgarden they have money and she is expecting Jamie to come back or something. So that she can give the guy the money. Or that Euron had some. I don’t know where she’s… where she thinks she’s gonna get the money so quickly. But well, she thinks she can and of course, for the bank money is money, right. They don’t really care who seats on the Throne. As long as they have the money they are happy.

Then we see…. We go back to Dragonstone. Yeah, we spend a lot of time in Dragonstone this time. And we see Tyrion and Jon talking. Jon of course is not very happy. He feels like a prisoner. And Tyrion said he has his troubles too, right. Cause he just found out all their allies are dead or gone. And the, in the end , Tyrion knows. For him it’s clear. They need Jon’s help. And the help of the North. And so he asks Jon what he can do for Jon. I mean, if Jon has  a request that he could actually try and convince Daennerys to grant. And so yes, Jon says okay well. Maybe you don’t want to help me defeat the White Walkers but maybe you could let me mine Dragonglas. Because that’s one of the reasons why he went to Drangonstone in the first place. Because they need Dragonglas. So Tyrion talks to Daennerys and in the end she agrees to let Jon mine it. And she even says that she will give him manpower to do so. I mean, anything he needs. Someone.  Probably the Dothraki or someone else. They will help him. To mine it and do whatever he needs. So that is cool and then he asks her if that means that she believes him. She doesn’t answer. She just tells him: You should hurry. So yeah… do you think what? She still doesn’t…  he’s hard to believe, right. When you haven’t seen them (the White Walkers). But do you think maybe she just doesn’t want to say yes or no or maybe she’s doubting … but they seem like… more friendly maybe. One thing I don’t understand is why it is that so far she hasn’t even contemplated the idea of marrying Jon. Because yeah, if he’s the King in the North. She needs him, he needs her. An easy way to solve this problem would be for them to marry. Because then yeah, who cars. He’s the king, she’s the queen. But yeah, maybe she’s not ready to get married again. Cause she lost Drogo, the she had that lover … yeah, maybe she’s not ready. Who knows!

What else happened . Then we go back to Winterfell and we see how Sansa is all: I am the Lady Sansa Stark and she really was prepared to be a lady, right. So she’s giving orders, she’s asking questions, she’s making sure they have enough food. Because they don’t know how long this winter is gonna last and she really is stepping up. I thought this was really great. And it really suits her. She’s good at that. And Littlefinger knows that too. Because he goes to her like: yeah, you were born for that and she just looks at him like: Aha.keep hoping. You’re not getting it, man! And then someone arrived and it was Bran! And Sansa was really moved. She was happy to see him but I thought it was so strange when she huged him. She was all crying and everything and his face was like. I don’t know, blank. Without any feelings. I mean, it almost looked like he was annoyed. And that I thought was very very strange. What d you think this means? Cause I mean we all know Bran knows the past and the future. So, do you think maybe this means Bran knows Sansa is gonna do something and something that he does not agree with. But he can’t really influence her maybe now or something like this. I don’t know. I just really thought so strange. And then they go to the Old Gods and they talk and Bran tries to explain to her how it works, being a 3 Eyed Raven. But Sansa doesn’t get it .To try and prove to her what it is that he can do, he starts telling her about the day she got married to Ramsey. Because he wasn’t there. He was nowhere near there. But still he talked about how it was snowing, how beautiful her dress was… so she said: well, I need to go. And she went. She did not wanna listen anymore.

And then we see Jorah and he seems cured. His skin doesn’t look so good yet but yep. They are letting him go. And its all because of Sam! Of course they lied to the Maester and the in the end, when Sam and Jorah, they were saying goodbye they say they they’d meet again. I think it might happen. They might cross paths  again. And then we see how Sam talks to the Maester  and of course he’s afraid they might expel him, he’s not so sure what’s gonna happen. And the the Maester tells him: Look, you should be proud, you saved his life. But it was very dangerous, what you did. Because a lot of people had tried it and it did not work. And then, when this happens, of course Sam thinks: Okay, so now he , he’s going to reward me for what I did. But he doesn’t.  Or maybe he did, and Sam just doesn’t realize it. Because we are not sure what is written in all those papers he’s supposed to copy. So maybe all those papers are about the White walkers. And the guy found this as a way to indirectly maybe help him in his search. Who knows. Could be.

And what else. Yeah, some people really think that all those things happening with Sam, they are big indications that in the end we will find out the story was already written by Sam. So everything we see now already happened and Sam of course already knows the end of it. That would be interesting, right. To have like a last scene where we see Sam closing the book. That he was reading, who knows, maybe to his son or something like this. But back to episode 3, so we see then the Unsullied attacking Castlery Rock and later how the Lannister Army attacked Highgarden. And that I thought was so clever. They all thought the army was going to be guarding Castlery rock but of course they were not, because they know Tyrion and as Tyrion is the one who was doing the whole strategy, they though we’re gonna play him. They only left enough people in Castlery Rock for them not to get too suspicious maybe. And then Euron Greyjoy burnt all the ships so now they can’t just leave by sea, they will have to march. And winter is coming so it’s not gonna be anything beautiful to see. And in the meantime they (Lannisters) were attacking Highgarden and the we see in the end as Jamie is talking to … I always forget her name… Olenna. And he gives her this poison and they are talking. She said: Well, Cersey. She’s gonna be the end of you. And he says well, maybe. But then right before she dies, we see her all proud telling him she was happy, she was not going to die like Joffrey. And she tells him actually, she is the one who killed Joffrey. And the Jamie goes like:  what? But well, yeah. It’s too late. The poison he gave her Is not going to make her hurt half as much. But she tells Jamie: Please tell Cersey. I want Cersey to know I did it. So it wasn’t Tyrion. It was no one else. It was her. She was responsible for killing Joffrey. Men, what an ending!

So, what do you think is gonna happen next week. Do you think… on the next episode. Do you think Daennerys and Jon will get along? Well, like I said, from the spoilers I saw already we will have this meeting between Arya and Sansa . it’s about time! Arya finally arrives home, so we will have 3 of the Starks back home now. Sansa, Bran and Arya. And what else do you think is gonna happen? I think is also about time that we see the Hound again and where he and those other guys are. If they are going to the Wall or wherever it is that they are going. I think we might also see how Jorah gets back to Dragonstone and I am really looking forward to see how it is that this is going to play out. Is Daennerys just going to agree that Jon returns home? Is she going to agree that Jon goes to the wall and finds a White walker and then brings it to her to prove that he’s not crazy? I don’t know! What do you think is gonna happen? As the story develops, you get more and more obsessed with what is going to happen, right? Spoilers are good but sometimes the surprise is very good too. Right guys? So, I wish you and amazing week, and we will talk again very soon on the next episode! Bye, bye!
